Somehow Timo gets credit for having the game winning hit the other day, but Willie gets no love for finding a way to bring the tying run to the plate... Would you have wanted Timo leading off the bottom of the ninth down two runs? I wouldn't. He can't get on base with any regularity.

June 5, 200520 yr Sending down Willie while keeping Timo is just dumb. With Frank back, we already have enough trouble getting Carl, who also plays outfield. his AB's. Timo is now useless. Willie is fast, has a high OBP, plays great defense at 2b, backs up at SS and is young and improving. Timo is none of those. Willie plays outfield just as well as Timo, but Timo can't play infield. Ozuna plays all of Timo's positions as well as Timo (if not better) plus he plays all IF positions. OHHH-EEEH-OHHH, Timo must go!
June 5, 200520 yr The reason they are keeping Timo over Harris is that Timo can play the OF and 1B I know, it still does not make much sense since now Gload can man 1B back up duty and Everett is already there for OF back up duty Harris would be better served being up here as he can back up both 2B and SS Ozuna can back up all IF spots except 1B
