Timo has a career .294 BA and a .824 OPS in 17 ABs vs Radke in his career which includes a HR from earlier this season.

Dye has a career .148 BA and a .448 OPS in 27 ABs vs Radke in his career.

Even is he wants to get Timo in there for Dye that does not mean he should lead off. He swings for the fences a lot, which is odd for a player of his size and stature and he is deceptively slow which is not a good quality for a leadoff man. Stick Arow in the leadoff spot, he was absolutly ridiculous there last year.

This is unreal. What the f*** is wrong with Ozzie? Timo is the worst leadoff hitter I have seen in years. I doubt the Royals would even have him leadoff for them.

I know if Gary the No-Trash Cougar were manager he would not have Timo lead off.

Crunching some TIMO numbers....

Since 2002, he is an amazing .239/.287/.331 in almost 300 ABs when leading off an inning.

Aaron Rowand is .269/.315/.430 in over 300 ABs in the same situation. Not great, but better.

But is Aaron clutch? :) ;)

Hopefully my full blown mono will be good luck! Took a nap and I'm still tired, yeah.

my second semester of college provided me with the delightful virus mononucleosis. I cant tell you how great it is to sleep through 2 weeks of your life.

WHy is JD out? And why is Timo in..

Because Dye is hitting a cool .148 against Radke while Timo is hitting .294 against him in his career.

Timo will sit tomorrow against the lefty. But can it really hurt to give Dye a day off against a pitcher he's struggled against?
