August 30, 200520 yr He was saying on Saturday that we were close to a deal again for Griffey, now we wont have any deals at all. They have looked at the options available and will go into the final battle for the division with no upgrades. Hopefully our guys learn how to hit in the next month.

But I'm with you. It is one thing to redo the team in the offseason in a positive way like he did, but in a long season you have to add pieces and he did not do that.
