We didn't choke, we didn't give it away, we did it, and now we've got a 1 in 8 chance of winning the world series. Â To all the players, the coaching staff, and KW for constructing this team into a division winner. Let's hope they can go further now, and aren't just satisfied with this accomplishment alone. whitesoxmanager Posted September 30, 2005 Share Posted September 30, 2005 i will say it again. this team is very special because it really doesn't beat itself with untimely errors or rediculous walks. i know the O has struggled the last 70 games but if we get back to stealing bases in the playoffs we are going to put the pressure back on the opponents like we did in the first half. IMO this team is going to go as far as PODS & IGUCHI take us. if they get on base and score then we win, if not then we could be in trouble. If we sweep cleveland, or take 2 of 3, that puts them at 93-94 wins.  If Boston takes two of three from NY, they both would have 95 wins.
