Bring on these busters.

BRING IT ASStros!

This is gonna be a bloodbath!

ummm, I thought I wanted this, but now im not so sure. I think the Cards are the Red Sox and I think we could of beat them easily. BUt Houston looks to be hot right now.

JC vs Clemens

this needs to set the tone.

I really cannot stand that swarm of bees sound that they play at Houston. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz - SPLAT!

This figures to be a ridiculously low scoring series, so because of this I'm sure we have a high scoring series on our hands. :P

I'm actually happy for Biggio and Bagwell at least getting a shot in the W.S. Those two deserve it. They aren't getting a ring though ;)

Me also. Two of my favorite players.

BRING IT HOUSTON!! 'Stros Sox 2005.

Astros and White Sox it is. A true champion welcomes whatever challenge is put in front of them. And the Stros will indeed be a challenge. A challenge this White Sox team will meet. :gosox3:

Two players share the birthday May 27th, 1968

Unbelievable coincidence that the other one is Bagwell....

DAMN, my two favorite teams playing each other. My loyalties are always with the Sox, but I'd rather be beating up on any other NL team before the Astros.

Very happy for the Astros and the city of Houston. Ain't it nice not to have the Spankees, Red Sox, Cardinals or Braves in the Series...FRESH BLOOD. BRING IT ON b****ES!!!!

I CAN'T WAIT TO FACE CLEMENS in game 1!!!!!! I swear...my dad still lives back there....and I have NEVER....EVER heard the excitement in his voice as right now. I may piss my pants before Saturday waiting.

The Sox have also taken my mind off my Bear problem!!!!!!!!!

Well...if we manage to beat a team with Clemens, Oswalt, and Pettitte, no one will be able to say we didn't earn it.

the 2005 world series is:

The Chicago White Sox vs. The Houston Astros.

wow...say that to yourself, it still hasn't sunk in.

That's gonna be almost as tough as beating a team with Contreras, Buehrle, Garland, and Garcia. I like our chances better.

wow this makes me nervous and I dont know why

Can you say pitching, pitching and more pitching!

Clemens, Oswalt and Pettite! It shall be challenging!

Cause we have an oppenent now. I just got nervous as well, I also got nervous right when the angels beat the yankees. Just how I am I guess.

playoffs aren't supposed to be easy

both teams are very similar

Should be a great series

I'm looking forward to it

GO SOX!

My only concern is this: Minute Maid is very similar to the Cell, and we've been much better all season when playing on the road in a bigger ballpark. Busch would've been a better fit for us. I still think we are a slightly better team than Houston, but I'm definitely more concerned about them than I would've been about the Cardinals.

But hey, that's why they play the games. Bring it on.

The good thing is a lot of the balls paul just misses will get out at houston. Who knows how that park is going to play for us, we'll find out though.

That works both ways.

Me too. My favorite AL team (obviously) and my favorite NL team both break huge WS droughts in the same season. What are the odds?

I like the Astros as well. But now? They are my mortal enemies. I don't feel anything towards them with a White Sox World Series title on the line.
