February 28, 200620 yr Phil's is my usual target, but I might be a little biased since I've been getting it for as long as I can remember.

February 28, 200620 yr QUOTE(Middle Buffalo @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 08:18 PM) Palermo's Agreed! Great sauce, great sausage, great crust. Little Franks in Burbank comes in a good second. First time I bought one from there, I bought a regular crust, sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, and it was heavier than a deep dish. Those guys LOAD the toppings on, just like Phils in Chicago Ridge. I'm not a deep dish person, but a friend of mine bought a deepdish at Phils, and said it weighed a little over 12 POUNDS!
February 28, 200620 yr QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 09:53 PM) I'll go with Home Run Inn on this one... Make that two votes for HRI. The original location on 31st, can't speak for any others. Sout Siiiiide Suckas recognize.
February 28, 200620 yr I don't know if it's even still there, but J&J's Pizza Shack in Portage always made one hell of a meal.

February 28, 200620 yr Deep dish? Lou's Sausage Thin, sausage, green pepper, onion, mushroom? Pat's Pizza in Grayslake Bacon? Rosati's There is no way a true pizza gourmet could get everything at one place.
February 28, 200620 yr QUOTE(Brian @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 08:33 PM) Not in Chicago per say, but I like Kaisers in Gurnee. Must be a newer place, have you been over to Bill's or Pat's (Mundelein and Grayslake)
