Roger Clemens

Featured Replies

Clemens is becoming quite annoying.

Holy crap! WHen I read the headline, i thought he was riping on the WBC (whic I woul dhave no problem with him doing). But that? DAMN! You can't say that man, even if you are thinking it or just joking about it. you need to keep your mouth shut!

Clemens waited for someone to laugh ..........UH OH no one did.

:headshake

seriously roger

dear Roger Clemens i hate you and you are a dickface, but please play one more year cause i got you in a fantasy league and im struggling.

This is the guy who threw a bat at Mike Piazza, I'm not that shocked that he's stupid enough to say this in front of reporters.

I'm surprised no other sports outlets have picked up on this story. Nothing thus far from Foxsports, yahoo, or ESPN.

This can morph into a HUGE controversy if ESPN, among others, have a backbone and report on the comments of Clemens.

In defense of him, if you watch the whole thing on ESPN it doesn't sound that bad. He also clearly didn't mean it in an offensive way. Just a boneheaded choice of words.

Yeesh what a f***ing idiot.

This is a situation where regardless of his intentions, the words themselves are worth more than any explanation thereafter.

You remember criticism of Bill Parcells for calling a certain defensive play a "Jap attack," or some variation of that? He even went as far as to specifically warn the media he meant no harm by the term, but it didn't matter because he still said it.

I'm interested how Baseball Tonight reacts to this...

Thats really surprising on what he said, kind of mean.

I just wondered what the spin on this would have been if Bonds had said it

Their answer probably:

*crickets*

"How 'bout those Yanks, Sawks and Barry Bonds?"

Exactly what I was just going to post...

There'd be a hanging scheduled, no doubt.

Well I guess after checking off the Comedy Network as a future employer, he might think about the Red Sox. Dumb try at comedy. Too bad he couldn't speak in "green"

Ding, ding, ding, ding.

It makes me appreciate our clubhouse more.

EXCEPT FOR AJ!! :P

Clemens is still a better person than Bonds. Bonds is a huge racist.

Roger Clemens is either a s*** sandwich or a giant douche.

At least he's not like Barry "I don't do things for white people" Bonds
