But I don't take pleasure in ridiculing the poor man. He did a lot, and he's tried this year. Forgive me, but I understand that he's done all he can do -- sad though that is -- and am not going to blast him away. It's not like he was a player with a bad attitude in our clubhouse. Cliff Politte makes Shingo, Koch, Biddle or any other former Sox scrub you can think of look like a legitimate all-star. How does one fall this hard in one year? Well, I think it's apparent that Cliff just doesn't have the combo of Stuff and location this year. Stuff looks better than it did at the beginning of the season, but the location is just awful this year. Like I said in the game thread, thanks for 05 Cliff.
