I'm pretty sure that Odalis made him his b**** last year. Padilla and Perez were the two guys who made him look extremely silly.

2006 Dye Vs Perez: 1 for 9 w/ HR and 7 K

2006 Dye Vs Padilla: 0 for 5 w/ 5 K

Good call. The 2 pitchers he had the most problems with were by far Padilla and Perez.

Trap series. Sox need to get up for this series. I hate when they play down to the competition.

Need a sweep here.

I believe its called a sandwich series.

I thought a sandwich series is when you play one team then another and then play the first team again. Hence one team is sandwiched between playing the same. As Oppossed to the old home and home made famous in hockey.

Predicted lineup:

Erstad/Ozuna/PK/Dye/AJP/Crede/Iguchi/Uribe/Terrero

Don't be mad if Sweeney doesn't play.

You couldn't be more wrong.

Comcast Chicago has been on the air far too long to be consistently having the technical glitches and problems that I see everytime I watch a show or game. I just watched the entire pre-game before the first pitch at about a 3-7 second delay between the video and audio. Thats just embarrassing.

Why can't we ever get hits against LHP? Lots of uppercut swings so far tonight.

My first thought is, "Oh God, we are back at home. Now all the hitters are trying to play homerun derby again." This is evident in the upper cut swings. And our best contact many Sweeney (how sad is that?) is on the bench.

Even Hawk is talking about them attempting to lift everything.

We come home and the softball team shows up.
