I can't say I blame him for how he feels. It seems like if he were going to sacrifice himself, they could have given him a little better story leading up to the finale. I hated Charlie, but leading up to his finale, they focused on him some more, and I actually felt bad when he died. I have no reaction to Michael's death because his character seems incomplete. He was quite good in the first season, though.

 

Unless they distinctly show a person die in the show I don't assume they are dead.

 

Kristen at E!Online has on good authority(and she has great sources) that Jin is fine and back next season.

i've wondered before about what will happen when Sayid (under orders from Ben) goes after Penny. I picture Penny sleeping in bed with Sayid standing next to her, aiming and ready to shoot when he looks and notices a pic or her and Desmond. Now considering Sayid went to the dark side after losing the love of his life...i can't imagine him putting his good buddy Des through the same pain. At that point, i think Sayid will turn against Ben.

There is no way Sayid will kill Desmond, absolutely none. I'm guessing Sayid will remain a "good" guy. f***, he's the best character on the show by a longshot. In fact, I think you see the beginning of a new plan with Sayid and Hurley now being back together (there wasn't much put into that in the finale, other than it happening, but I think something drastic will come from it). I also enjoyed Hurley's comment to Mr. Echo (another one of my favorite characters on the show).

So I stumbled on a theory today that makes a ton of sense to me.

 

Ok, so of the major themes of LOST has been polar bears on the island. They have always left the mystery of what purpose they serve on the island, and why they are present.

 

So jump to Charlotte finding the polar bear skeleton in the desert, along with the collar.

 

How did it get there?

 

What we do know is that after Ben turned the giant donkey wheel to move the island, he woke up in a very similar desert. What he also told us is that once you turn the wheel, you can never return to the island. If you remember, the room was very cold.

 

 

So, getting to the point, has DHRAMA along with the Others used Polar Bears to turn the wheel in other instances? Is that why they are there, to serve as pawns to turn the wheel, so people don't have to leave the island? Remember, when Sawyer was trapped in the Polar Bear cage, Tom told him it only took the Polar Bears a few hours to figure out how to get the fish treat from the cage, obviously training them.

Haha, no, it's cool. I just love the Lost talk. Some of my buddies and I were just talking about Lost yesterday and how we couldn't wait for the start of next season even though it's still months away.
