I hate Ozzie Guillen, making me sit through watching Griffey in CF for a second straight night.

 

If this happens again on Thursday nights game, we deserve to lose the division.

IMHO, KGJ and Nick Swisher do nothing better than Brian Anderson and Brian Anderson does things better thna both of them.

2003-2007 mauer has a .222 average vs buehrle

he has no hits this year off our crafty lefty

 

mauer has 21 total at bats vs mark, with a .190 average (4 for 21)

 

morneau has a career .240 average against mark (11 for 45)

Ozzie's lineups and personnel decisions are silly at times. Think about this, if not for an injury at the end of ST Jerry Owens would of been crushing the ball all the way to the pitching rubber at least 3 times a week, and Quentin would be on the bench.

 

Anderson can't hit. But he should be out in CF.

 

 

Someone briefly touched on this earlier, but pitch around Morneau. I don't care if there are 11 men on base, he's seen enough pitches to hit from our pitching staff.

I like this line-up. DWise should have starting leading off as soon as he got hot. OC has done a great job, but he's not a lead-off, and AJ is certainly not a #2 hitter.

I'd like to see it too, but this will never happen.

Right now, Ozzie is failing as a manager. His #1 job, like any manager, is putting his team in the best position to succeed. Griffey in CF is not the best position this team could be in, plain and simple.

reading between the lines, i get the feeling that some people think anderson should be starting instead of griffey. I could be wrong, but I get that subtle impression.

I know one thing...I probably won't look at this site for 24 hours if we lose and Griffey "misses" a ball BA theoretically would have gotten to had he been in CF.
