This would easily be our most painful loss since Carlos Guillen layed down a squeeze in the 2000 postseason. You can blame the damn umpires if you want, but the offense was handed the majority of the 6 runs we scored in the 4th by the Twins and has been silent since. You knew we were going to blow this after we blew chances for more in the 6th and 7th.

Sorry to post one thing in this thread but the offense has cost them for this series and for the month.

 

It is down right sad how they shut down and let a team scratch back in.

 

It was like we were waiting for them to catch up. If they lose this, the part that will keep me up tonight is how we didn't throw an 0-2 hook to either Gomez or Span.

 

Nothing is going to keep me up about this series if we get swept. We've just choked all series long outside of Mark Buehrle and are getting what we deserve. They HANDED us that big inning and 5 run lead and we still blew it.

Whoever was calling the pitches should be ashamed of themselves. Gomez chases everything with 2 strikes, no reason to throw him a fastball anywhere near the zone there.
