While that is incredibly painful look and devastating, that just reaffirms that ESPN was talking out it's ass when they claimed he was fouled hard.

If LeBron signs with the Bulls, I have some horrible feeling Deng will be moved to PF. Now, if you get LeBron and get rid of Deng (Note: This might require a little bit of black magic), suddenly you have:

The only way the Bulls can get their hands on a 2nd Max deal this offseason would be to pair it with moving Deng or signs and trades involving their expiring deals (most of which won't total up to a max deal).

 

Basically, the Bulls need to win a top 3 lottery pick to have something that would interest another team enough to make them willing to make that move.

Um, no. Even Dwight Howard only has a career average of 13 rebounds, and he's won the last four rebounding titles. It's even less likely to have two guys at that level on the same team, especially if you have another strong rebounder like Lebron at SF. It'd also be quite unlikely that they combine for 30 points with Lebron and Rose on the roster unless they play at a pace that would be comparable to the Golden State Warriors on a crystal meth binge.

Edit: I thin Gibson could be a solid 15-10 Guy.

Bulls now 1 game back with Raptors loss to Golden State.

 

Bogut's also probably done for the season. Not that I'm happy he got injured, but it helps the Bulls a little bit.

I think you both are being way too kind with his point totals and one is overrating his rebounding effiency and the other is underrating it.

 

Noah was around 11+ RPG before he got hurt. Factor in the Bulls hopefully getting another scoring player next season (preferably 2 guard) and I don't think Noah will have as many chances at scoring other than the offensive rebounding put-backs he's very good at. I see 10-12 maybe 11-13 going forward from him which is very solid. When healthy, he'll probably be one of the top 5 rebounding bigs in the game.

A couple reasons I think getting to the playoffs would be good.

 

1) More playoff experience for Rose, Noah, Gibson and Johnson.

 

2) We wouldn't end up with the 11th pick and fell annoyed by Bucks getting it.

 

3) Who knows? Maybe they completely surprise everyone, and upset the Cavs. Did anyone expect Golden State to upset the Mavs? No. Is it likely? No. Would if be incredibly awesome? Yes.

Because the Bulls play the Bucks on Tuesday night.

Gibson seems to be much much much more efficient and consistent. Will he be capable of putting up a 30 point game? I don't know.

You can't really compare the two. Gooden is a better scorer, but Gibson is a superior defender (to the fact that he's a very good defender) and a better rebounder.

Agreed on all fronts. I'd take gibson 10 times out of 10 over Gooden.
