It's sad that a lot of teenagers today have never seen that movie. Elisabeth Shue in that movie in just awesome (and I don't mean her acting).

I watch the movie every once in awhile as well, but Shue was chunky in it.

That said, I saw it so many times when I was little. I was the Karate Kid for Halloween when I was maybe 5.

 

80s movies made me who I am today :unsure:

Has to be Shawshank Redemption and Tommy Boy, there was a time when I knew all the lines to both movies.. To this day I go around asking people how they can be so obtuse.

I wanted to post before I even read this thread. I fully expect Forrest Gump to appear in at least half of the respondents' posts.
