Absolutely not. Bunting there made all the sense in the world. A 2 run lead is twice as much as a 1 run lead.

You do realize that while bunting moves the runner over it doesn't get them in right? Meaning either way somebody needed to get a hit, which is easier to do with out giving up an out.

Teahen, Jones and Rios all hitting in the same game? The Sox have to win this. I'm looking at Jenks and don't see someone who looks 25 lbs lighter than last year.

maybe he got all the red meat cleaned out of his colon, that's why he's 25 lbs lighter but you can't see it.

I agree from a situational standpoint, but in what scenario do you ever see Quentin bunting, even on a team managed by Guillen?

If it makes that much sense, do it....I don't care who the hitter is. This team needs to bunt more often than it currently does.

He meant Quentin bunt with runners already at 2nd and 3rd.

Runners were on second and third. A good bunt definitely brought home a run.

Omar Vizquel has probably forgotten more about playing shortstop than Alexei has ever known.

Which isn't really saying much. Heck AJ probably has forgotten more about playing SS than Alexei has ever known...
