December 17, 201114 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 17, 2011 -> 08:10 AM) A lot can happen in 34 minutes Oh I know, it was the juxtaposition of the excitement and anticipation with the simple statement of letdown and disappointment with no one else's posts in between.
December 17, 201114 yr QUOTE (kev211 @ Dec 17, 2011 -> 01:56 PM) Jimmy Butler for ROY I didn't watch the game; can he handle the ball well enough to fill in at SG sometimes?
December 17, 201114 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 17, 2011 -> 02:55 PM) I didn't watch the game; can he handle the ball well enough to fill in at SG sometimes? looks pretty good to me
December 17, 201114 yr He's gone to the DRose Memphis State school of free throws I see. I hope that Rose can help him get better like he did.

Haha hope you guys know me good enough to realize that was sarcasm...
December 18, 201114 yr Osiris Eldridge dropped 52 last night in a NBDL game. Had to throw in a little Redbird news in the NBA thread.

December 18, 201114 yr QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Dec 17, 2011 -> 09:13 PM) Didn't he shoot them well in college? Who? Butler or Rose?
December 18, 201114 yr QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 17, 2011 -> 09:35 PM) Butler was a solid ft shooter in college. Maybe it's just nerves, then. I'm only going by the posted video. I never saw him in detail at Marquette.
December 18, 201114 yr QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Dec 17, 2011 -> 06:15 PM) Osiris Eldridge dropped 52 last night in a NBDL game. Had to throw in a little Redbird news in the NBA thread. Yeah, he's been doing really well so far in the D league.
December 18, 201114 yr QUOTE (kev211 @ Dec 17, 2011 -> 09:32 PM) Yeah, he's been doing really well so far in the D league. Kid can definitely score. Too bad he's a 2 guard in a point guards body.

December 18, 201114 yr I joined the fantasy basketball league. So you have an even amount of teams now.
December 18, 201114 yr QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 17, 2011 -> 10:54 PM) Ricky Rubio definitely has game. I don't think the Wolves will be good this year by any means, but they're at least moving in the right direction. Rubio is more suited for the NBA game than the euro game, and he's got plenty of athletes to take advantage of.
December 18, 201114 yr So, Derrick Williams at PF? So Love is the C? T-Wolves need to go Rubio-SG-Williams-Love-NotDarko to be good.
December 18, 201114 yr QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Dec 18, 2011 -> 03:02 AM) So, Derrick Williams at PF? So Love is the C? T-Wolves need to go Rubio-SG-Williams-Love-NotDarko to be good. It depends on the matchup. Love SHOULD be playing the 5 a lot more than he does (or at least, did last year), if only because there aren't that many centers around the league that will really take advantage of his poor defense. I think we'll see a lot of Rubio/Barea/Beasley/Williams/Love, which isn't the best lineup defensively, but is pretty interesting offensively. Edited December 18, 201114 yr by Felix
