I can't believe I stuck through the entire season of American Horror Story. My god that show is terrible.

I really enjoying it. I'm a few episodes behind though. This is the type of show that people either love or hate. I love it. Creepy is the best word I can think of to describe it. There are some "scary" moments, but more than anything it makes me uneasy.

and the young maid is so dam hot!!!

Luther is so damn good. Had to get Series 2 on iTunes for only 6.99.

Just started watching Boss. After 1 episode, I am not sure about it. As trivial as this sounds, the White Sox references (Kenny being on the show, Kelsey wearing a Sox hat) may actually keep with the show for at least a couple more episodes. I really hate politics, and I fear this show may be too political and boring for me. I do like the storyline of the daughter so far, but all the talk about the airport being built on Indian grounds was putting me to sleep.

Idris Elba is just an awesome actor, when rumors started circulating of him being the new Bond I got very excited, he'd be incredible in that role. British television in general is very strong right now.

I was kind of where you were after the first episode. I bailed after 3 or 4. It just didn't pull me in and had a couple dumb moments.

Show be much better if they had maybe 2 or 3 storylines going on instead of 9 or 10.

All I've heard about Boss is copious monologues and gratuitous sex that actually takes you out of the story. Seems like a cool idea that's lacking in execution.

He's the man...is he in the Luther show?

Have been watching an interview with Vince Gilligan and the cast of BrBa on youtube for about an hour now. lol. I think I might be obsessed with this show, and I can't believe I didn't ask for the previous seasons on Blu-ray for Xmas.

EDIT: In case anyone else is interested....

It takes place before S3 aired, so some of their conversation is outdated, but I'm fascinated nonetheless.

Yeah he plays Luther, the lead. If you love Idris/Springer you'll likely love Luther.

Well.....episode 2 of Boss was better than the 1st, IMO, so I'll continue for now.

Anyone watch Decoded this week on the modern mafia? Very cool look at the Zetas and cybercrime

Finally started Blue Mountain State on Netflix streaming. So wrong but so right.

It only gets better.

New Top Gear special: India! Some of the best television around, the Top Gear specials are not to be missed.

The top 40 countdown marathons were good viewing. I disagree with the rankings, but they've done a lot of good stuff on there.

The Decoded the other night on Pope John Paul I was interesting. I had never heard about theories of his being killed, nor about the Vatican bank money laundering for freedom fighters against communism and socialism.

Given the bluray player I got for X-Mas, the PS3 I already have, and the wife and my Fire/Nooks, I signed up for Netflix streaming. First on the list is The League, which I somehow never watched.

One thing, is there a way to get just an alphabetical listing of everything that is on Netflix? I get the categories with like 30 or so flicks/shows in each, but I know there is way more, because when I search for other stuff it shows up.

Really? I've heard lots of them. It's even a story line in The Godfather Part III.

I don't think so. And yeah, that's annoying how they don't allow you to "see" all the titles they have. The hilarious movie "grown ups" was hidden for a while, only to be found in "search". They also suck at listing NEW ARRIVALS. Half the time they are movies from 20+ years ago, or they don't include the newest and best arrivals they have (like when they added Breaking Bad)

It's not bad. It just seems bad in comparison to the first two.

That's by far the highest praise I've seen heaped onto Grown Ups. The best I heard before (and I agree with) was "OK".

I honestly only know 1 person who didn't agree.
