It was bad, because it was in the air, but I didn't think it was terrible. A lot of times that bunt would get down, even with the 1 second of hangtime it had.

I couldn't disagree more. Bunts aren't supposed to be caught and if they are, they are awful.

A bunt that's still in the air nearly halfway down the 1B line is a terrible bunt by definition. Add on top of it that they have a known good athlete at 1B and it only gets worse.

I appreciate Cleveland trying to make the game official.

You probably should have just said that the first time then.

I did. Post #97 was my first on the subject.

With all the debate about the bunt, Danks looking great.

Come on 50, one more quick out.

Yes he is. Good thing he wasn't traded for prospects.

If Danks strikes guys out like this all season we can kiss him goodbye in the offseason.

He's under control for next year. Why to the Sox have to operate like a small market team?

Cmon JD.

Doesn't he have 1 more year of arb?

Because he's a lefthanded pitcher and will get Sabathia/Lee money in 2012 if he has two seasons where he strikes out 200 because of his age. JR would never give that amount of years and dollars to a pitcher.

And maybe the White Sox wind up with 2 division titles on his left arm.

Then one more year of his services plus the draft picks will be a lot better than picking up guys like Matt LaPorta.

Lucky there. Better get some more runs.

GREAT PLAY GORDO WOW!

a lot still has to happen but 2011 could be one of the best sports years for Chicago fans. (bulls, hawks, bears and our SOX)

Yeah, give Rios the first day off in KC.

Hopefully Rios doesn't start pressing at the plate. After swinging great yesterday, he's coming off the ball a little today.

Alex looks miserable right now.

Let's hope there's a lot of rain on the way and the game gets rained out.

A few feet short of a homer. Damn it.

Alright Alexei. Make up for your awful, awful play.
