July 27, 201114 yr Im pretty sure that saving $2.5 mil this year and $6mil next year arent really huge concerns when the Sox dont have to bring back MB/Jackson, can trade Danks, Floyd, etc. So it cant just be about dumping Teahen because there are ways to slash your payroll and get talent back, which is a far better investment than just dumping money with your better players. Just an odd deal for both teams if it happens. Its not like the Blue Jays are rich enough to start absorbing contracts.

No, there's no one else the sox can move to create a roster spot unless someone is going on the DL in the next hour and we have no idea. De Aza starting means someone has been dealt.
