I.... Well there was..... yeah, I got nothing. At least 2007 had a perfect game haha

EDIT: Wait, Duh:

September 27th - Ozzie Guillen released from Contract

.

This pretty much...

1.) Guillen quitting on this team physically after having quit on them much earlier

2.) Walker announcing that he won't be back

That's about it. The first game was pretty fun, though.

Today, it's over.

Buehrle getting saluted yesterday.

The Pierre walk off extra innings hit earlier this month.

Viciedo and Flowers going on a tear after they came up.

Soxtalk getting Paulie in the All Star Game.

Lillibomb's great OF plays vs the Yankees in April.

Humber coming out of nowhere to pitch well.

Santos and Sale helping a beleaguered bullpen after the blown saves of April and May.

Morel picking it up at the end of the year - hopefully carrying that into 2012.

Pretty much the official end of the Ozzie era. I know it sounds petty but i honestly couldn't handle following the team this year and that's all on him.

The only times where I was optimistic about this team was the first couple weeks of the season. Then when Ozzie got fired, I started getting interested in the team again.

here is an honest one for you guys:

my favorite part was Hawk and Wimpy reuniting in the booth and letting bygones be bygones. it was very nostalgic for me listening to those two again

That game Stewart threw.

Mark!

Walking out onto the ramps at the cell after the July 4 fireworks and literally being surrounded by fireworks, to the point that I got to stand there with wife watching fireworks in front of the Chicago skyline for 20 minutes.

Dunn getting cheered for his bloop single.

This. I miss Wimpy!

Getting no-hit by Liriano.

Watching Hudson vs. Jackson from the 7th row down 3rd base line. I can't remember the last time when I went to a major league game. Baseball is so awesome at the park, yet is also great on TV and radio. No other sport provides that. Chase Field is a nice place to see baseball.

The other one is MLB offering a special in June to watch the rest of the season online for $25. I still got to see the Sox and some great baseball moments.

I could care less if people think baseball is boring but it is starting to become my favorite sport to watch.

None, this season was a 100% failure... And the GM should have seen that in June, traded away what the sox can.. and started toward 2012, then waiting till now to realize it. And if Ozzie was the problem as some here think, then the GM should have had the balls to fire him, or quit himself.

I'm awaiting the 2011 offseason and think the sox are going to try to get under 90 Million payroll as much as they can.

Williams tried to fire Ozzie in the past. He didn't have the power from JR. But my God, would you drop it? You're ruining every thread you touch.

Would you stop your BS.. and think somehow the problems of the Sox are solved?

And if you are the GM and the owner tells you no.. then if you are a man, and you are good.. you quit, and go get a job where you have the power to do what is is needed.

Since I think Kenny is a man...

First of all, nobody is saying that the Sox problems are fixed. Nobody.

And perhaps KW should have just quit on the team, like their former manager.

I don't think you are nobody.. Someone loves you

11 years, and the same problems.. I stated both need to go, but the wrong guy left... Now its on Kenny to prove Ozzie was the problem.

Guys the season was a success.

We brought this trophy back to the South Side:

Crosstown.Cup.2crop.jpg

Adam Dunn opening day home run, before the hysterectomy.

One game that really stands out is the extra innings game against the Nationals. 3 comebacks, Sox still lost. Coco Crisp attempting to steal home sticks out too.

What an awful season.

Whatever, guy. I've never said that.
