It just means he will be out $200 in a week. :P

You're more than welcome to try and make it $400 if you're so confident.

Made my bets today:

$50 on Notre Dame -9½ at 1:1

$50 on over 40.5 at 1:1

$50 on Notre Dame to win at 3:1

$50 on Notre Dame +5½ at 5:1

-9.5 at 1:1 but +5.5 at 5:1? Me confused

-9.5 at 1:1 but +5.5 at 5:1? Me confused

I get even money on ND losing by less than 9½ points, but I get 5:1 odds on ND winning by more than 5½ (and I get 3:1 odds on ND winning by any amount).

Right so even money on ND losing by less than 9.5 would be ND +9.5

Yes, I did have that backwards didn't I? I'll fix that.

Haha yes no worries, that was the only reason for my confusion.

The only one I don't like I guess is over. I think this could be a 17-14 kind of game. Not sure how much either team is going to move the ball.

Good luck!

Agreed, but you never know, could end up being like 5 defensive touchdowns.

I'm too tense to predict anything. I hope that ND can compete, I really hope that they can win. But I have no idea what's going to happen.

Everett Golson is the key to this game.

Johnny Manziel is good

Yeah, that's a bad play. ND likely won't win if it goes over. They need to steal a 17-14 type game like you said.

Chip Kelly staying at Oregon.

I think ND will hang in there. The Alabama of the 2nd half was much less dominant than the one blowing the s*** out of teams early in the season. However, Saban does tend to do well with long off-periods.

That said, I think as it stands today, the team I'm confident could beat any other team on a neutral site is definitely Texas A&M. Great season for them and they just kept getting stronger.

My Official prediction:

Bama 27

Irish 13

The way ND wins:

Get an early lead of two scores or more (at least 10 pts).

Don't give up the deep ball on play action.

Play Alabama at least even on both lines of scrimmage

Make at least 4 plays of 20 or more yards (those made when behind by 14 pts or more don't count)

Get pressure on McCarron and force him to make a mistake (2 or 3 would be better)

Hold Alabama to less than 150 yards rushing

The way Bama wins:

Keep the game close in the first half or better yet, score early and follow it with a ND 3 and out

Have success throwing early

Pound ND on the ground in the 2nd half

Confuse Golson and dominate ND's offense.

Create turnovers

Score TD's from outside the redzone

I'd love to see a different result and hope Notre Dame does better than I expect, but I just can't see it.

Hope the Tarnished Dome gets it's collective ass whipped tonight! :whip

Bama wins 20 to 17. I hate both these programs but I'd be pretty surprised if this isn't a very close game.

I think it will be until late.

Gambling was invented so people would feel less dirty about rooting for a team in an Alabama-Notre Dame game.

I would be surprised if Bama doesn't skullf*** ND.

Well, im rooting for a large sinkhole to develop underneath the stadium.

Wait, arent you a Michigan fan? I dont know any UM fans that are remotely pulling for the domers.

If Barrett jones is healthy I think Bama covers the spread pretty easily. Can't think of too many scores where they don't cover. Will they even put up double digit points?
