There's no reason to not throw a pitchout against Dyson. Everyone knew he was going to steal.

How many iffy outings in a row did Santiago have before he lost the job?

More than he should have.

92 mph...jeez

Ventura and the coaching staff seriously need to re-evaluate Reed. Forget that he was good in the first half and his rookie accomplishments, we're in a pennant race and we need our most efficient pitcher out there which IMO is Jones.

Wow, controlled the whole game and we still somehow barely win it.

YAY!

Never a doubt.

SOX WIN....winnin' ugly?

Finally.....................Danks f***ed that up 100%

Sit down, Cain. Ahole

Wow, that was not necessary. God damn you Jordan Danks and the lights.

6 game losing streak to the ROYALS OVAH.

KW BRING BACK BOBBY JENKS.

Reed is bad. Good hitters can hit him easily.

win, Reed is f***ing terrible, no f***ing argument

Greg would love this. There are times I wish we could designate Ozzie late in the game handling the pen.

Whew!

He's been horrible against the Royals and Mariners this year. If it wasn't for those two teams, he'd have some pretty damn good numbers.

Give me Crain from now on. It's September and this kid can't pitch without giving up a run, at least.

Ova! A Ws a W...If Danks caught that no one would be bitcjin about Addy...I do think it may be time to explore another option though...Jesse Crain would be my guy

The problem is that good closers shut the door at that point.

Reed, who has no idea of how to do anything but point his body at home plate and fire fastballs at 93-95 that he has no idea where they're going...inevitably falls apart when things tighten up.

Ventura will affirm after the game that he's STILL the closer, but there's just no way he can save games against the likes of Jackson, Cabrera, Fielder, etc.

They will eat him alive if he can't throw anything but an average MLB FB for a closer, with almost no movement and often center cut.

Reed doesn't like anything other than 1-run saves. He always makes it a 1-run game. That's the way he likes it.
