Refs beat Akron.

Congrats Michigan.

As much as I hate to take Michigan's side in anything, that last play, while obviously pass interference, is almost never called.

Akron's 3rd down play call was terrible.

No thats what NFL teams and real coaches do all the time.

lol

What can go wrong if the refs call the play correctly?

The centering of the ball takes 2-3 seconds, that leaves 15 seconds on the clock. You line up, you let the clock go down to 5 seconds and you spike it.

What exactly can go wrong? The refs can completely change the rules of college football so you lose? That can happen on any play....

If Wisconsin misses the fg or the asu runs back the kick for a td, everyone is saying "Why didnt you wear the clock down and make it the last play of the game."

You cant answer:

"Oh well I had a dream like Final Destination and I knew that the refs were going to screw us."

(edit)

And I know that s*** happens, but I really think people blaming Andersen are way off base here. He did his job. He was putting Wisconsin in the best position to win. The refs f***ed up. You cant expect that he is going to predict that. Sometimes you do everything right and lose.

Hes 100x better than Bielema, its just unfortunate for the Wisconsin players to lose like that. They deserved better.

Most of the time, when teams center the ball before attempting a field goal, they have a timeout that they use after the clock runs down to 3-4 seconds. You don't often see teams center the ball with the intent of spiking it on the next play. There is some risk involved, as we saw with this play.

That doesn't change the fact that the refs screwed up by not letting the offense get another snap off when they had plenty of time, but the situation could have been avoided.

Yeah but you still have the horrible spot, review and the 9 seconds they never gave back.

Agree on both accounts but basically going to echo what Rock said.

I just saw the replay. That was about as bad as it gets. I guess there was a chance Wisconsin would have missed the FG, but that game was clearly stolen from them. If I were a Badger fan, player or coach, I probably would have had an anuerism Saturday night.

My biggest complaint is that in the age of replay, even if they thought its maybe a fumble, its college, the player is immediately down and the clock stops. Even if the refs f***ed up in the moment, all they had to do was raise their hands and say "The previous play is under review."

I feel bad for the players, they have to answer and be accountable. Those refs just walked off the field, as if they didnt even care.

HS game, but crazy end to a game with both team's fans rushing the field on the last play of the game:

That's infuriating. That should never happen at the high school level. I hate dumb football.

Arian Foster was taking money on the side while at UT

At least he didnt sell his own property for that money.

This is why teams want the stipend to increase, HOWEVER, these guys get enough to live on. "I didnt have enough for food" is bulls***, you get a dining card with UNLIMITED funds on it. You can get whatever food you want bro, for free.

I'd put odds of IU beating Mizzou tonight at about 40%. Pleasantly surprise me, Hoosiers.

Rock, please tell me OSU is scheduling up next year.

Wow...Iowa murdered Central Michigan. Offense has improved each week under our sophmore QB.

He's trying to steal the thunder from Toldeo's big road win.

I'd be livid if I was a Tennessee fan. Butch Jones basically gave up any chance at a win by keeping that stiff of a QB in the game. Should've swallowed his pride and put in the starter from the first two weeks.

Michigan State's defense is quite impressive...refs absolutely killing them though.

Five yards at halftime, lol

Is that RB on Wisconsin, Melvin Gordon, a legit prospect or Purdue just that bad defensively. I switched over to the ND game but he was looking pretty impressive.

Ive been telling people that Gordon is the most talented running back Ive ever seen at Wisconsin.

Wow, these refs are pathetic in the ND/MSU game
