Infield. I am not sure we deal another SP at this point, so free agent possibly?

So since the middle of summer we have gotten our #1, #3, and #4 hitters. Not a bad start.

So do we nickname him Spanky, or ASE? Or something else?

Everybody does not need a nickname.

Our rotation is certainly below average now. We better hope we don't trade another SP.

"That guy we wish we hadn't traded Santiago for"

he projects as a 4OF at this point

Eaton will smite thee, Nathaniel.

Last time we heard this was from KW taking about Simon Castro

That has nothing to do with this trade. Eaton has a good hit tool. We need guys who can work a pitcher and can make contact. He is being bought low on partially because of an injury. I have more faith the Sox can develop another Hector. They are o for about the last 30 in developing these type of outfielders.

Because we traded Santiago? Hardly.

RF Garcia

CF Eaton

LF De Aza

DH Viciedo

Did I miss Adam Dunn/Paul Konerko being moved?

Gotta say that was a hell of a throw! No doubt about Eaton's arm and it will be nice to have a CF with an arm for once.

So, we only got Eaton? Sorry, just reading the headline.

Sounds like yes.

uhm.

Eaton, Abreu, Sale, Garcia, Johnson, and Q all under team control until at least 2018 correct? That's a pretty nice core.

Your stance is a lot more clear to me then if what you're implying here is you're very into the Sox 2014 chances.

I think most here like the acquisitions of really, really talented guys around that 23-26 age range. It's not win-now but it's adding talent in departments that need a whole lot of it.

He already has one. It's Spanky.

It looks like it. I feel like we sold low on Hector but hopefully Hahn has more in mind.

Bye bye Alexi or Beckham....

Things that make ya go, "Hummmmmm."

Just Eaton, or Eaton + a prospect from one of these teams. There has been no clear answer. I'll hold my breath for Stryker Trahan.

What do you mean? Santiago and any other SP we could trade are controlled well beyond then.

I couldnt disagree more.

He obviously has more in mind. It's a question of getting it done. Leury Garcia, Eaton, any more munchkins available?

Well, that escalated quickly...

Nice!

Maybe the true/false/true/false rumor about Uribe?
