The last time Melo had a legit coach and was surrounded with a legit supporting cast, he took the best of the Kobe/Gasol/Odom/Bynum juggernaut 6 tough games in the west finals. He hasn't had that since.

He couldnt even make it to the playoffs last year in the east, Pau Gasol isnt going to put you over the hump. Speaking of Gasol, I really dont understand why were even after him. We have Noah, Taj, Mirotic and McBuckets to a degree for the 4/5, we really need a 2/3 so I dont really see how Gasol would fit in with the Bulls plan.

Well I'm not quite sure DMD will play any PF, so I guess it does make some sense. If they can land Pau cheap enough to still land a a few other good pieces it'd be a fun team.

If Dan Gilbert didn't act like a vindictive ex-girlfriend, this would be much more believable. Nobody would hate LeBron for going back, I mean it's Cleveland after all, and unlike Miami, they have some nice young talent. Added bonus would be fulfilling his promise of bringing them a title.
