Jesus, that was a hangar. The double whatever, but you can't make that pitch with 2 strikes to Markakis.

I had a feeling Lindstrom was gonna let this thing go

Lindstrom putting out the fire with gasoline.

Well Cleto's coming in so this is like when man created the atom bomb most likely.

Gordon Beckham

Leury Garcia

Jordan Danks

there's your 1,2,3 inning! :D

Yep, we have most of them.

Can't even blame Robin really the season is over and Lindstrom getting a high leverage inning is fine. Sucks he has no value but whatever, they tried.

Ventura certainly has a feel for a bullpen.

Who could have thought that pitching Surkamp 4 days in a row could backfire.

Cleto is at least fun to watch. Young, fastball reaches triple digits, and is unpredictable to watch pitch.

2 out nobody on turns into a single, HBP ,walk ,double ,HR, double , 5 runs and counting...

Hahn flat out busted in his FA acquisitions for the pen this year

At least there is some potential there. Most of these other guys will be out of baseball in two years

I'm waitin for the League to come down on them for throwing baseball games.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Lindstrom wasn't ready to come back. But far be it from me to question the top-shelf talent evaluators in the Sox system.

Definitely rushed him for trade reasons. To my eyes, it looks like he has changed his mechanics a bit, which has caused everything to flatten out

or you know, he is physically ready to come back and they are trying to showcase him? The pen just sucks they have nothing to lose trying to get some team to take him in Sep.

Why won't he (Lindstrom) throw a fastball?

It's like that portly RF/P Thibault on the Rhode Island team tonight in the 6th. Curve after curve after curve.

Slider...slider...slider...slider...slider.

Cleto 98-99 tonight. If he can ever harness his control, he might make a terrific closer.

Hawk says to Steve, "I can't take this s*** no more. Take over."

Well this is another step closer to that great draft pick, right?

Hawk is way past his expiration date. It's really sad.

Every game is a win. We either win or get closer to a great draft pick.

Yep, and in losses, it's nice to see Abreu or Avi do well

Think I can get a refund of my Sox -155 if they do?

The road to Matuella/Aiken? Idk someone else can come up with the clever catch theme for that.

Exactly. We have our work cut out for us though fixing the pen, rotation and lineup

Could be because of something still going on with the ankle. Changing the stride and he is changing other things. I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.

The pen will be fixed.

I'm not sure if it's been said already, but check this out....

In games in which Chris Sale has started....

Sale has allowed 33 ER.

The bullpen has allowed 36 ER.

That's impressive, almost.
