Don't like rents

Don't like doing business with Oakland for players who have been on their major league team for more than 2 years. They don't have enough prospects for Alexei.

Hopefully Anderson goes nowhere. I would be fine if Danish is main guy going to Oakland. I could see Beane liking Semien.

If there's any truth to that, I hope the Sox didn't give up too much to get him. I've never really been that big of a Shark fan. Maybe there's a 3-way with the Braves?

Would hate to see us unloading the farm for Shark. He's a good fit for the team, but FIP and xFIP suggests he's a more of a mid rotation starter rather than an ace, but he will likely come at an ace cost, after Oakland trading Russell and McKinley for him.

Semien, sure. Maybe a package of Semien or Sanchez, a lower level guy like Michalczewski, and a decent but not great, pitching prospect like Beck.

He's comparably to Cespedes in terms of low average, decent OBP, strikes out.

FWIW, you guys are right. A lot going on. The next week or two will be very active. Rick and Beane have been in talks all week. Dodgers cooled off. Still heavy talks with Reds and Rockies as well.
