Still hate giving that much money to a closer, but I feel better about this after the Samardzija news than before it. I'm starting to believe this team can contend. We are basically an OF and maybe a 2B away from that.

Wow. Major need...lots of money though. All that matters is Sox are comfortable with payroll in that 100-110 range though, closer to that 110 number (maybe even 115). Why not.
