Through the power of the possible, Semien has gone from awful to asset. In short, he's looking like a shortstop.

Gibbons said if Buehrle needs another inning or two he might bring him back on short rest to pitch in the last game of the year out of the pen. It would suck to see him miss it this year as many believe he is going to retire.
