I'm confused, isn't LaRoche a former multi-Gold Glove winner? Shouldn't he be playing first most of the time?

They don't wan't Abreu to become a full time DH at his current age, so while it seems they would be better off defensively if LaRoche played more, long-term, it's probably better Abreu gets more time in the field.

Butler killed us too. And the ultimate Sox killer, Melky, now plays for us. Now if only Bruce Chen can go to the NL or just stay down in the minors.

Just to be that guy...I don't think the Sox have had a ton of luck opening in KC. I still remember how we blew that opener in 2004 because our bullpen melted down.

I knew Aoki was paint but not that big of a pain dang.
