Did Bruce Chen make anybody's roster this year? Just so I can worry about those automatic losses.

Feels like the first 1-2-3 inning we've had all series.

Danks with a low 90s fastball would be decent John Danks again. I can't wait to have that guy back.

Probably the first game. I haven't seen higher than 91 I don't think

On Gameday I saw 92.

nice 1-2-3

Something that hasn't happened a ton over the first 2 games.

That was on the CSN broadcast as well. He threw a 90 MPH fastball right before that.

Yes. There is no reason to pass on a pitch you can hit hard just to work a count. You may not get another anywhere near as good to hit.

Especially with their bullpen. We don't need to make Volquez's pitch count run high, just get good wood on him.

John Danks just posted a 1-2-3 inning, only the third by #WhiteSox pitching in their first 18 so far. #Royals have had six in 20.

Accompanied, I'm guessing, by Hawk explaining Moustakas will have the best year of his career as long as he hits second because he'll have things to do and something something.

Nationally Yost has been ripped for batting Moustakas 2nd instead of Gordon.

That should be encouraging, because I saw a lot of 91s when Samardzija was on the hill, so it probably isn't too jacked up.

And its tougher than football, baseball and basketball.

If Danks can throw 89-92 with the four seamer, 85 with the cutter and 77-81 MPH with the change-up, then he's got a chance.

It's when all those pitches blend together and he has to come in with so-so stuff when he gets behind in the count that he really gets into trouble...or starts walking batters.

Definitely has been lacking a strikeout or "swing and a miss" pitch since the surgery in 2012.

That's two home runs in a normal park without the wind blowing in.

I'm tired of this guy.

Micah put a charge into it, oh well.

Are we playing against 2001-2006 Torii Hunter?

JESUS.

I'm tired of Lorenzo Cain, dude.

Yep. Turned into two great catches.

Try to do the splits, and do a flurry of flips, then make a human pyramid, and hold someone up over your head with your palms.

He might have a point.

Cain showboat hit the wall

Not much consolation to anyone other than Steverson.
