Cle and Detroit this weekend is going to be huge for the Indians...possibly an elimination series.

Sale shouldnt be trying to throw a CG in brutal weather.

Micah trying to hit that pitch past Harrelson's long drive record in golf.

Cozi TV? Da fu...?

Putnam warming?

Kind of like a no confidence vote there from Ventura and Cooper.

And if no one is warming up and a couple of other get on, you start another dumb Robin thread.

Chris goes 9 tomorrow. He hates the Royals.

For real, I wouldnt even blink if he put up 13-14 K's tomorrow. Despises the Royals. Let's see how much of a tough guy Yordano is when someone like Chris is starting on the other side.

Jake looks wayyyy off.

He wasn't ready for MLB yet.

Sox win! Yes!!! Now they have to take 3/4 from KC.

Shutout City

Offense did well against a good pitcher. We've been here before, let's hope they wake the f*** up.

Anybody else notice Abreu taking charge and having the player rally around him? I think Abreu can drop the hammer on a few.

seriously ANOTHER AL CENTRAL TEAM?

My god man I hate the unbalanced schedule but this is ridiculous. Entire month against AL Central and if it was to be broken up it probably would have been with interleague. Man I miss the old days sometimes.

Yeah, I hate this year-round interleague. And the extra wild-card.

Elimination series. LMAO. How far back was Cleveland to the 2005 World Champions before they cut it to 1.5? And now you are saying a series where when it is over they have 145 games left is possibly an elimination series?

Great series win considering the pitching match-ups

Man if we didn't steal that one on Monday...

nice win in s***ty weather against a nasty pitcher. Take it and run.

And how many of those 145 would be with Detroit? No team is eliminated 1/10 of they way through the season lol.

If the Indians get swept, yes....I'll bet anyone they don't come back to make the playoffs.

No problem.

They've got the starting pitching, but are way short in the bullpen.

Brantley seems like he's not 100% with the back issues, Kipnis hasn't been good since 2013 and that leaves Carlos Santana as their main offensive threat. With Gomes out, they're just not a scary team offensively....doesn't matter if they get Nick Swisher back or not. And Michael Bourn hasn't been able to translate his style of play to the AL, not unlike Juan Pierre with the Sox. They're paying him $16 million a year to be a non-entity.

Kinda like our series. If we lose all four vs KC I think we're probably eliminated from division contention in April as well. We'd be 0-7 vs. KC already and folks, there'd really be no reason to think we could overcome they or Detroit at that point.
