as far as I can tell he has played every game since the AS break, including a DH, with only the scheduled offday on June 20th as any time off. The Sox don't have an offday for a week and a half from now, and they've only got 5 offdays the rest of the year with at least 1 more DH in there.

 

I'm generally ok with giving a guy a day off in that. In fact I wish we'd do that more.

 

I just hope Robin doesn't decide to PH him and end his hitting streak.

LaRoche is out with injury, Robin isn't going to use his other catcher as a DH, so out of Sanchez, Shuck, Bonifacio and Beckham, two have to play.

 

Shuck sits because he is a lefty. Among the other three, all of them have an OPS below .500 vs LHP so you really don't have a good choice.
