Anyone starting to think tbs' box is off?

It seemed off for the Pirates game too.

It's interesting the Cardinals are using Wainwright as a reliever.

I don't think it'll work as well as it did back in 2006. His stuff just isn't the same anymore.

Ball game.

Beautiful win.

Hell yeah

Tough start for the Cubs, depending on Hammel or Hendricks to get a W in the next 3 starts is not how you want it to go

I have been thinking that all night. It is way off

Way to go Cards! Sweep this round and move on to the NLCS.

I'm not rooting for the Cubs, but f*** the Cardinals too. Tommy Pham? These aren't even top prospects, they just pick people off the street and they hit home runs for them. It's like the same magic pixie dust the Packers have.

The story so far seems to be blaming it on forcing the Cubs to expand their strike zone (Phil Cuzzi, of course, Maddon was gracious enough to observe it was the same for both sides)...and also the possibility that Lackey ("I'm not accusing anyone" and then Ross inevitably did just that) was doctoring the ball or the Cardinals were putting balls that had been scuffed or fouled off back into play.

Go Scrubs Go ...........Go Scrubs Go..............Hey Chicago what do you say the Scrubs played like s*** today!

The TBS k zone is what people are going by and it is horribly inaccurate. The Dodgers/mets game appeared to have the same "zone"

That's actually not true at all as they were going on this morning on The Score about the Astros and Mets.

I don't consider the score in my local media rotation. It still surprises me when people listen to that station

How are the Cardinals so good at finding gems after the 10th round?

Good scouting and player development.

Eh, a lot of driving for my job, fm radio/most of today's music being terrible, and no other sports ones (loved "The Game" which used to be 87.7 fm but that went off the air. Short-lived.)

Get satellite and listen to Stern, while he's still on the air. The Score and most sports talk radio is poison to the ears unless there are interviews.

Lol, the score is poison but listen to stern

John lackey putting sweat off his arms and spit on the ball...isn't that illegal?

Sweat is fine. Spit is illegal. I forgot what player said it, but the player was asked about going to the mouth before a pitch. But the player said, if it gives the pitcher more control so he doesn't get hit, he's fine with it.

The box was way off. I think it was worse in the Dodgers/Mets game.

Says someone who doesn't listen to Stern and know his show. Don't you have another softball championship to lose?

I'm not necessarily saying it had anything to do with anything, but Lackey was going to his mouth/hair/cap a lot last night. It stood out to me while watching, so I'm sure it looked suspicious to the Cubs as well.
