I've always liked Southside by Moby as the soundtrack for my White Sox. I remember ESPN playing it during the World Series run.

I played Thunderstruck and Lets go go go go white sox prior to every single playoff game during that run. Me, superstitious, nah. I'm still waiting for my freaking world series ring...we all know none of that happens without me creating the Rally Crede!!!

Cancel means the game is off the schedule and will never be made up.

 

Postpone means the game is called with the intention of being made up.

 

When media people get this wrong, they need to be punched.

No clue where people see that at. It is 40 degrees with some chances of rain but nothing major to cancel the game. Maybe a rain delay or push back the start time

If they were going to cancel it in advance, I think it would be called by now.

I don't live in Chicago, but judging by the weather reports I've seen I can't imagine this game gets postponed. It's a major hassle for everybody to postpone an opening day game and I think they'll hold out as long as possible to get it in.

I think if they were to cancel it, there would only be 161 games this year.

We've seen in years past how unexpected matchups can be. That can be true among all of MLB. Still, worst in the AL this season still means you're better than atleast 6-7 NL teams lol

My free week of MLBEI ends Sunday and I've already missed 3 games due to ungodly start times. Don't want to miss out on another!

I work downtown and got back from lunch 20 minutes ago. It isn't raining or snowing, and it's cold, but not shivering cold. Unless some accumulating snow or some pouring rain is coming, there will be baseball.
