I agree with this. With the historically bad luck the Sox have in Minnesota and the Twins itching to get a win along with the total lack of run support that Q gets every start this game seems set up for the Twins to win. I hope I am wrong.

This game looks good for the Sox on paper, but who knows if they will actually give Q some run support.

 

I'm hopeful. Gibson isn't good, so hopefully the Sox get to him early and often.

Gibson has owned us. Twins are due for a win. Quintana always has bad luck. This is the Home Opener for the Twins.

These are all statements I would think for Sox teams from 2009-2015. So far the Sox have bucked a few of those trends early this season.

 

Would like to see them win this one this afternoon and have me think less worst case scenario.

Twins were 13-6 against White Sox last season, including 8-2 at Target Field. Rod Carew throwing out first pitch.

 

We lose these type of games so much that I think we're due for a Sox win today.

7 of the 13 position players are new to the Sox. New season. Fresh start.

Because Melky is the best LHB the Sox have to slot into the middle of the order to break up the RH bats. Rollins in the 2 hole brings more speed to the top of the order.
