His arm has improved an insane amount the last three weeks as he gets healthier

I mean, when we signed Jackson it wasn't even 100% clear which corner he would play. I'd say management picked the right one.

Should they seriously consider keeping Carlos Sanchez and send down Saladino?

 

 

Adam Eaton is very good a baseball and I'm glad he plays for the White Sox.

To bad Albers had his streak snapped because Jose couldn't catch the damn baseball...at least he made up for it in the 9th inning.

 

Defense has been bad the past few games, has looked like 2015. Maybe it's because of the raw weather conditions. Needs to tighten back up.

 

Glad Robertson returns tomorrow, bullpen has been shaky the past few days.

 

See if Sale can get the split tomorrow, considering everything that would be great.

 

Oh you wonder when its all said and done if the Sox should have signed Alvarez on the cheap.

A true platoon with Rollins and Sanchez could be beastly offensively at SS. Defense another issue. If they trust his arm I'd love to see it.

Zach Duke was one of the best relievers in baseball coming into tonight and made one very, very bad pitch. If you're b****ing about him you're grasping at straws.

Nice inning by Nate. He was pretty nasty IMO. Those home runs were bombs. Geez. Frazier has 17 RBIs in April. That is pretty damn good. Looks like Sox hit the jackpot on this FA signing from the NL. Seven homers. Beautiful.

Abreu, Eaton, lots of great at bats. Lawrie's home run was a blast. Watch the replay of it. When he hits one he hits one.

They're playing tomorrow. It's not going to be an all day rain thing like here today. What we have to worry about are rain delays. And in the event of a rainout, both teams are off Monday and the Orioles are in the middle of a homestand, so they would play Monday almost certainly.

Coming back to tie the game against a dominant reliever like O'Day was huge. And I still think Duke will be fine.

I feel like this needs its own thread so I can just gush unabashedly but if Eaton keeps this up the Sox are going to get like a bajillion dollars in excess value out of that contract.

 

Strangely they have a ton of great players locked up on team friendly deals like Abreu, Sale, Quintana, Eaton and in spite of that they're too cheap or stubborn to get rid of overpaid non-performers.

Why is Duke still being asked to get high leverage outs? I would've left Albers in to face Davis he's our best reliever to this point.

Just got done with the game and wow, I love this team. I had to apologize to my girlfriend for waking her up because I literally jumped out of bed when Frazier went yard.

 

It was great to see the guys in the lineup battle back and pick each other up.

I know they have Sale going tomorrow, but it has to be a must win game going into the off day. A win tomorrow would have to do a lot for the team's confidence because based on how the series started, to comeback and split with Baltimore would be huge.

I think the overpaid non-performers you're talking about were signed by the previous regime. And the Sox aren't known to be ones who eat contracts. (I think that applies to the Bulls too)
