Yep, Saladino was also 8/20 entering tonight in his last 5 games.

Improving that average slowly but surely.

Taking strikes swinging at balls for Abreu

Ranaudo has looked decent starting in AAA so far 2 starts only gave up 1 run in each one.

Jesus christ how many f***ing balls is he gonna roll over on this year?

So disappointing this year

Shouldn't that be a ball

Why isn't that a ball?

How does that not count as a pitch?

Right down the plate. This offense is so flat.

Gee dominating

Q might have to go 9 tonight

Well, we've lowered Gee's ERA to under 3, so there's that.

I guess it's progress that we have the best record in the AL (tied), are dominating the defending World Series champions and the game thread feels like we're a 4th or 5th place team.

Mostly just frustration pent up over the last 8 games. Those two off-days didn't seem to help much...stretched out our slump.

Cuthbert's father a lobster fisherman off the coast of Nicaragua. Hmm...there's lots of talk he will be moved to 2B in order to learn how to play that position in Omaha and eventually supplant Infante later in the year.

Tyler has a long load time but he can really peg it when he needs to. Nice to have that in the back pocket.

1-0 is dominating?

Cutter in, Infante looking for a pitch there to drive and got it.

Good thing Q didn't give him that first pitch fastball. Sitting on it.

And former White Sox prospect Orlando continues to hurt us. Held him to a double at least.

Bottom of the line-up hurting the Sox here.

Seen this from Q before unfortunately. Hated pitch selection to Infante

Damn it!!!

Everyone saw this coming.

Great effort by Saladino again

Can't expect these guys to pitch a shutout every time. Bats have been awful.

Jose needs to settle out. Not a good time to give up the lead late in the game with their pen.

Luckily, Gee is reaching his pitch limit for this game.

Unluckily, we're getting close to where they can bring Hochevar in and start the bullpen run.

Saladino made a great play to stop the ball, had more time than he thought but at least kept runners at 1st and 2nd. Could be worse...so far.

Royals no longer taking that first pitch the 3rd time through.
