He then advanced to third on a wild pitch and scored on an Abreu sac fly. Video coming soon

Albers is first #WhiteSox reliever (non-position player pitcher) to score a run snice Cliff Politte 6/8/2005

Did we just solve the DH problem?

Anyone else remember this incredible piece of hitting for Cliff to get on base? Vs the rockies.

Someone on first. Cliff of course told to bunt him over. Fielders are like, well of course he's going to bunt, he's a reliever, so they come ridiculously far in. Cliff pulls back the bunt on his own and just slaps it to right field. Absolutely beautiful.

Most meaningful stat of the year. We won the series that year...therefor....oh yes...October is going to be fun!!!

Albers was 2 for 34 in the NL hitting for the Astros and Orioles.

21 strikeouts.

Minor league totals of 0 for 21 with 11 K's. Overall, combined 2 for 55 with with 32 K's.

1 walk, 1 run scored, 1 RBI

Last scored a run for Corpus Christi (AA ball) all the way back in 2006.

...And you know what happened in 2005!

DH him and bat him cleanup, we have found our left handed power bat.

This really happened. I seent it with my eyes

That was actually a legit cut, short, quick and driven oppo. He also took a pitch nicely on 1-2 just after fouling one off.

Nice non-slide into second. Almost overran it.

I was scared he wouldn't score on the sac fly! Then I saw the throw...

3.000 OPS just saying.

That would have been a heckuva time to have Cespedes in CF.

Still don't quite get why they didn't insert him into the game in the 7th for Conforto when they had runners on 1st and 2nd, no outs.

I was at that game at Coors Field

I think my favorite part was the "slide" into second base. He almost took Walker out because he tried to slide but his body wasn't capable of it and he just fell into the base.

Genius move by RV telling Frazier to hit a HR to tie the game and for batting Albers because RV just KNEW Albers was over due. Sheer brilliance! RV for manager of the year!

Why was that swing so beautiful? What the s***?
