Prior to tonight’s game, the #WhiteSox placed Austin Jackson on the 15-day disabled list and recalled outfielder Jason Coats.

Jackson has a medial meniscus tear in his left knee.

Paging PTAC!

Even on a slightly positive day they have to go and have some s*** like this happen.

Damn..... That sidelined him for a while, possibly multiple months. Screams that we make a CarGo or Bruce trade regardless of what Coats does.

More Shuck in CF. Sigh

Avi in Center?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Kind of bizarre, played all 9 innings last night. Hope we like Avi Garcia in RF!!!

Time to get that OF bat in a trade and hope the Jackson can return by late in the season to be a solid 4th outfielder if you are in it still.

God f***ing dammit. Was coming around with the bat.

Is Coats good in center field?

Why not Jacob May? If anything just for his glove so Eaton can stay in right

I'm thinking it's because they don't want May to be ruined by major league pitching.

May is currently on the DL for Charlotte

Jay Bruce, your plane is waiting

Damn

Did Fullmer become expendable today?

Better not be

What would Bruce cost in terms of talent? His payroll to current production ratio seems to indicate that he is worth some valuable talent to me. What do we have that could realistically get this done? Fulmer?

Odds are surgery with 6-8 weeks recovery and MLB CF ready in 10 weeks.

Trading for Bruce is highly likely now since he fills 2 holes.

Sadly he's horrible in RF.

Why not keep Melky in left, move Eaton to center and start Coats in right? Then we don't have to deal with Shuck in center or Avi in the field at all.

Unfortunately, Bruce can't play CF. At this point, I'm wondering if somebody like Jon Jay might be a better fit.

I'm sure they will try to calm the inflammation down with rest and meds. If not, it's 3-4 weeks after surgery.

Sox definitely should have grabbed Jon Jay when they got Shields. LHB and good contact.
