Shields is obviously WAY off on his location/command.

He gets hit, he knows his stuff isn't as crisp, he tries to nibble on the corners until he has to come in if he's down in the count.

It's like Erik Johnson, in another form.

Hahn has to go before Ventura. The Anderson and Shields moves were the final nails in the coffin. At least Latos battled, kept us in games more or less and didn't cost $30 million.

All we had to do was sign Ian Desmond and we could have kept Anderson in the minors this season to protect him...but no, we took a reliever instead.

Abreu is definitely back. We missed you buddy

Abreu HR

Abreu coming to life just as the season is dying.

HERE WE COME!!! DON'T STOP NOW BOYS!!.....

Why is Frazier so far off the plate

Eaton in the 2 hole paid off!!!! Too bad the pitching didn't

Coop will fix him.

I wonder what the Hawk is doing/thinking right now watching this?

LOL James Shields. I think there's something seriously wrong with him.

They have been throwing the ball inside on him a lot lately, so he is probably trying to force the pitchers to pitch away from him.

Lately, Coop can't fix a ham sandwich.

Not to mention how much money have we already wasted on Rollins, Latos and Danks this year?

Desmond would have cost $6 million net because we would have saved money from the draft pool...which won't be contributing until, at best, 2019-2021, when Hahn/KW/Ventura are long gone.

One thing they should do immediately is let Coats play every day, DFA JB Suck and send Avifail Garcia down to AAA to await a trade, because he's never going to be a good player for the White Sox (maybe Japan w/ Viciedo).

I sure hope so. This team can't score enough runs to consistently win without the 2014-2015 Abreu.

That was a laser shot homer. Maybe he can motivate the others

Making him lunge even more on those outside pitches.

Over/under line on how many Shields gives up this inning? I vote 2.

Did the White Sox-certified physicians give him a thorough physical exam before they agreed to the deal?

MRI's?

I can't believe they wouldn't have, not after the 10 run game against the Mariners.

Ian Desmomd, Ian Desmond...you wanted to sign him in June. Now, with hindsight signing him was the obvious move you wanted them to make all along. But it wasn't. $10 million for Latos, $8 million for Parra and sign Desmomd in June. That is Caulfield without hindsight. No so good. Although I did appreciate how when Duke stunk up the joint a week or so ago,you claimed you were against that move from the beginning. I will get in trouble if I show your actual post in the Duke signing thread, but let's just say, your memory is a bit off.

There's a first batter BB...

There wasn't time.
