It's great to have a natural base stealer

Now hoping Engel puts it together.

Why do these hitters think they are going to get a 3-2 fastball?

Some really s***ty contact tonight.

Garbage garbage garbage

He's doing much better at AA now since being brought back up. Nice to see and I'm sure he's at least one more year away.

Our hitters suck and have sucked all season. Nothing shocks me anymore especially with my boy Q on the mound.

More blown opportunities with RISP.

Nothing new. Can't fire Steverson. Would look ridiculous at this point.

How does this happen every time? A bunch of mental midgets out there...

At least we have Tim Anderson

Would be great if he could take a walk. Just a single one.

I couldn't care less at this point. It's not in his game. You know what is? Multi hit games

This may be the best Q has looked all season. To bad the team around him blows.

Engel has a 742 OPS in Birmingham this year, and it's trending up.

He MIGHT be better than Austin Jackson. Will turn 25 this December. If anything, he profiles more like Adam Eaton-Lite.

But, if you have Eaton and Engel in the same outfield, you absolutely have to get huge power numbers from RF/DH. Otherwise, you won't be able to contend.

PS: Say whatever you want about Trayce Thompson, but at least he knows how to accept a walk.

Lol. Fantastic game for a leadoff hitter. He's gotta be approaching the record for most PA without a BB.

This team is running Aliva, Garcia, and Shuck out there in the 7, 8, and 9 spots. It is delusional to think that a team has a shot at the playoffs with three absolute scrubs in the starting lineup.

He didn't walk much in the minors. Hopefully as he matures that part of his game increases.

Avila is fine for a catcher and batting 8th/9th.

Shuck is a subpar bench option and I don't know what Avi is but it ain't an MLB player.

Masterful work tonight in dashing any potential hopes of another winning streak.

I respect all of you guys that continue to watch this on a nightly basis.

The masterful Gibson

Yeah because our CF right now has tons of power

One more out to go.

The bottom of the Twins' line-up might be worse than ours.

MIGHT.

Anderson and Eaton over time are going to give you similar power numbers...that's not their strength.

When Eaton had that home run binge in years past, it adversely affect his game and he started getting out of game and swinging for the fences.

See Willie Mays Hayes scene in Major League. The dude leads the AL and probably majors with infield hits.

So, as far as I can find, the record for most consecutive PAs without a BB is 207. Tim still has a ways to go.

Lmao, remember when we almost signed Park?

Avila doesn't hit and his defense is bad. Barely a replacement level catcher.

Absolutely delusional to think this team as currently constructed has any playoff hopes.

What is it gonna take to get Cargo, Lucroy, and that Vizcaino dude from the Braves?
