The 22' Reds finished 62-100 so the Sox would need to go 59-78 the rest of the way to be able to match that.
I am not seeing it. We don't even have as much talent as that team had.
I don't understand how its this bad. Its almost impossible to be this bad. And its not even like they are just not catching breaks or getting unlucky. They are truly awful everywhere.
Even if all you care about is saving money, you simply can't allow this to continue. You have to fire this manager. This team isn't just bad, they are putrid and have taken major steps back everywhere.
Well again, there is no way that they play .500 from here on out so you can go ahead an pen in 100 losses. The question becomes how many more than 100 does that grow.
I don't understand how anyone could have thought that this team would be better than last season, they literally downgraded everywhere.
I would have rather kept Vaughn in LF and resigned Abreu for 3 years at 19 million per season than be stuck with Benintendi for the next 3 years AFTER this one.
No, no we are not.
Its almost like he is wearing out already. Im shocked I tell you.
IP this season each start... 6, 7, 5, 4, 3 with less effectiveness each start. I wonder what the issue is....
Please don't win, I don't want to make a thread tomorrow.
Benintendi batting 5th, again, sigh. Noted contact hitter Gavin Sheets manning the 2 hole.
Anyone else notice Crochets ERA is approaching 6 now?? YIKES!
I don't get it. If you don't want to pay the price to sign these high dollar fee agents then invest your money into scouting and development. At least that way you can hopefully produce your own star players and just keep that cycle going.
We seemingly like to live in the middle ground of behind the times in scouting/development and only shelling out money for mid tier free agents who wont move the needle. Also, continually hiring unqualified alumni to lead your team/organization.
