Buehrle's perfect game. It could be ruined with one at bat, unlike the WS.

  1. He's angry because he knows he won't be in Chicago for long, but instead he'll ultimately be in Nashville.
  2. My dad was talking to me about Ramos' english being really good and I told him about the Sox program for LatAm prospects to learn the language (which is actually really, really good thing that the org does and was started by Getz!). He all of a sudden criticized Moncada for...skipping classes? And I had to remind him that Moncada wouldn't have been attending English class at the Dominican or Arizona complexes since he never played there for the Sox.
  3. Vive la Résistance Contre le Règne de Chris Getz
  4. I'm 100% here for him continuing to succeed. But the Getz stans making this face with Ramos succeeding as Soroka gets lit up, Lopez grounds out, Maldonado struggles to hit .100, Brad Keller exists, and the team fails to reach .300 feels incredibly thin.
  5. It's so weird that Eloy wearing red gloves has spread to the entire team.
  6. God forbid those of us who like Ramos are fearful that an organization with a history of rushing and destroying prospects are possibly rushing a prospect by having him jump from AA to MLB because Chris Getz is a panicky little s%*#. He's hitting right now. This is good. Hopefully he keeps hitting.
  7. Greg, you've sold too many houses to buy MLB.com.
  8. Sure, I'll trust the guy who couldn't develop LatAm signings outside of a $52M signing in Luis Robert, Oscar Colas (expensive signing with NPB experience that he now hates), Lenyn Sosa (now doghoused), and hopefully Bryan Ramos to find a Tatis Jr.
  9. I can't wait for Jorbit Vivas or Javier Vaz to join the org.
  10. He's like an inverted Bummer right now. He's got a .135 BABIP against him (while he's had low his last two seasons, not that low) and his FIP is 6.22. He might be the one pitcher benefiting from the defense.
  11. The angle I was going for was hot market commodity and the Sox were very clearly sellers. We heard all offseason about the Cease bidding war and then didn't get a high-level hitting prospect in return (Zavala is projectable).
  12. It's funny cause Rick Hahn was in the same boat with Quintana and got Cease and Eloy by holding onto Q.
  13. Sorry, you'll get Crochet, Nick Nastrini, Tanner Banks as an opener, Paul DeJong converted to a pitcher, and Clevinger.
  14. I think this means the Keynan Middleton signing was the greatest signing of all time.
