What choice do you have? Montoyo is a behind the scenes guy...and too close to Grifol. Thome or Konerko would have zero interest. That leaves Jirschele or Leyland's kid. Need to experiment with a younger guy and see what happens.

He might actually be able to get something out of Colas or Sosa. Plus a SS to work with Montgomery as well. Knows about Sox Pride and players will respect his two WS titles in coaching. Might as well bring back Camp Cora too.
