  2. Didn't know this but apparently Len Kasper plays in a punk band in Chicago. Took a listen and I dug it. https://sonic45.bandcamp.com/ Fun fact: I stood next to him at a Raveonettes concert 17 years ago. If he's going to that concert, he knows music.
  3. I love that things are moving along but parking is going to SUCK big time for the next few years- and it's already bad.
  4. Mets are hot since clearing house. Can't take this game lightly.
  5. The King is in the Building. Luis Robert is in the building. Sean Burke is on the bump. There is no time like the present to get hot.
  6. Some people will cry about a prospect for a long time. I just get pissed for a bit and move on because that’s all you can do, the trade is done
  7. You running around telling people to STFU isn't sarcasm, and will not be treated as such.
  8. Yeah I do too. I kept seeing the insiders use that to justify the trade and I find that to be pure cope or just covering for Getz. The guy is leading the whole freaking minors in OPS... I'm sure they they could find him at bats at one of the less important positions. Injuries happen too. And like you said, he could be a good trade chip.
  9. Today

  10. Following up: First domino in Justin Ishbia’s South Loop plan tips - Sox Machine Not sure if you have been following this but Ishbia is on the move.
  11. So essentially, the Sox and Amtrak would be trading spaces with the Amtrak yard coming to Bridgeport first and then a stadium could be built at the current Amtrak yard or 78 with the yard being a ballpark village.
  12. Not sure. Maybe he ends up at 1B? Primary DH who fills in at LF, C, 1B some?
  13. Connor McKnight is better than Schriff and it's not close. I would let Schriff go and let Connor take over.
  14. This could all be for 2027 or even 2028 but I curious to see where Sox fans are projecting future lineups. I think Bonemer, who just hit his 31st homer, is closer to the big leagues than Smith, what do you think Caleb's future role is with the White Sox? If the Sox didn't trade Smith what position do you think he would play?

  16. Amtrak's funding boost paves way for White Sox chairman-in-waiting Justin Ishbia's South Loop vision - Chicago Sun-Times "U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Illinois, said his state’s share of some $5.3 billion in federal rail funding “reflects the city’s status as a thriving transportation hub.”Amtrak’s new rail yard “will allow for more efficient servicing of rail cars, reduce service disruptions and turnaround time,” according to the agency, which said its current facilities “were designed for a different era and no longer provide the space, configuration, or modern capabilities needed to support today’s fleet or anticipated future growth.” Besides the local NIMBY, which is to be expected, it looks like this is a go.
  17. Balls. Also, I find the “he doesn’t have a position here” lazy. If he keeps blowing up, he’s no longer here to use as a bigger trade chip for a starter with control at some point (this offseason, next year, next offseason, etc)
  18. Google AI Overview : The appropriate fan grievance time for a traded player is 48 to 72 hours of shock, mourning, and venting online, followed by a transition to acceptance by their first game back. Stages of Fan Grievance The Initial 24 Hours: Shock, anger at the front office, and emotional social media posts. Day 2 to 3: Acceptance of the business side of sports, wishing the player well, or analyzing the return package. The Return Date: Polite applause or a standing ovation when the former player plays against their old team.
  19. That's all I know, if you have anything to add go right ahead
  20. In zone contact which they think will be exploited eventually
  21. How do you trade somebody like that, and if you are such an expert on evaluating prospects, why is he rated so low?
  22. With the Daley family long gone the residents have no chance.
  23. I hope he's replaced. He's gotten better, but he has some way too cringe-worthy moments for my liking. The "Yeah buddy" and "I See You" s%*# is too much and forced. I wish they'd get Plesac in there full-time.
  24. hi8is replied to BamaDoc's topic in FutureSox Board
Just unreal that he was able to take that pitch to left-center considering its location. Wow.
  25. Can’t detect sarcasm and want to find any excuse possible to exude some of your own still. Shut the f*** up.
  26. If I was Schriffen I would aggressively explore other options. This fan base, as it is, has not been kind to him let alone supportive. John has worked for CBS, ESPN, NFL Network, so I am sure he will land somewhere.
