  1. Past hour

  2. I have empathy for some of my buddies that are Cub fans. We have good fun going back and forth but this morning I feel for them. Ok that moment of silence is OVAH.
  3. I am signing up for HBO Max today, another series another streaming service charge. Don't stop now boys, I will gladly keep paying and the Sox keep advancing.
  4. Braves Phillies exactly 50/50 Just don’t feel that overwhelming home field advantage in ATL White Sox running at 40% for G1 G2
  5. I was thinking how funny it was that despite our lack of playoff success, the scene of Sox fans on camera in the stands during the celebration was extremely familiar in my brain.
  6. Not sure anyone uses the ticket exchange anymore but if you hear anyone selling please dm me please.
  7. Well, Grifol sucked and Vasil is awesome.
  8. This team is so much fun. The offense has been great all year, but the pitching has been hit or miss. The offense continued being awesome this series, and the pitching was nails. Big credit to Venable with the management of the pitching, too. I think if they take one in Cleveland, they win the ALDS. The atmosphere at The Rate will be incredible. The Sox should have the first home game be a blackout game again and wear their Southside jerseys.
  9. I am trying to wrap my head around the Sox strategy for pitching. Is it that they lack arms that can go 6+ innings from the start that they get creative with openers, then a guy who goes for several innings and then lock down the later innings? Or is it that they are unpredictable with who will pitch, making other teams have to scout every pitcher and have hitters adjust to the pitcher coming out of the pen?
  10. Today

  11. Prediction markets need to be fired into the sun.
  12. I think my photo says it all.
  13. Game 2 easily on normal rest
  14. Who will Caleb try to befriend on the White Sox now since he needs to drop that loser PCA? I’ll say he goes with Sam.

  17. Sox win the series 3-1. Cleveland’s rest will kill their luck mojo.
  18. Well, my initial comments that you are responding to was that they had a better trade deadline than the Sox.
  19. My argument isn’t the Sox had a good trade deadline. It’s that the Cubs didn’t have as good as one as you were drooling over all second half.
  20. Neither will Castillo. Your argument is weak.
  21. Cleveland's pitching will be rested, but their bats will be cold, not having faced live in-game pitching for almost a week.
  22. He is going to be exec of the year and Will is winning manager. No way they both don’t.
  23. Holmes didn’t pitch at all in the playoffs! What a bunch of dumb assholes the Cubs are!
  24. Just woke up and saw old friend Gavin Sheets hit a 2 run HR against the Cubs and they were swept. What a good day.
  25. By that argument, sports message boards and talk radio and podcasts will always be completely worthless...yet how would Chicago survive without Bears/Cubs-related criticism? The actual ratio of media talk about the Bears to elapsed game time of those 17 on the schedule plus pre and postseason must like be 100-150 to 1. And that grace period Ozzie got for brilliant managing from 2005-2008 had totally worn out its welcome by 2009-11. Or just like Rick Hahn's AL Executive of the Year in 2019 had less than a four year shelf life. All execs and managers are hired to be fired...
