  1. Past hour
  2. "On December 17, Francys Romero reported that Tatsuya Imai’s free agency has effectively narrowed to two finalists: the New York Yankees and the Chicago Cubs. The Yankees are pushing hard due to injuries across their rotation and their long-standing pursuit of a Japanese star. Tatsuya Imai’s preference to join a team without current Japanese players also aligns with New York. The Cubs remain deeply involved, viewing him as a potential top-of-the-rotation anchor and reportedly holding off on other moves while waiting on his decision." Just don't be the Cubs for BOTH Imai and Murakami... Can't see them bidding over $200 million for a pitcher. Thought Imai was SFG bound?
  3. Caleb's on his 3rd head coach and 4th offensive play caller in 2 years and he just keeps looking better. And this is just year 1 of Ben Johnson.
  4. You joke but I remember hearing Imanaga going to Blackhawks games prior to signing with Cubs
  5. The Mets scare me. I know they brought in Polanco, but it feels like they still have a big hole at 1B after Alonso left. Can’t rule out the Angels either. Or possibly the Mariners. Just hoping for the best.
  6. In the words of Dom Toretto... "A wins a win."
  7. Then stop shitting on me about the Bears getting smoked in the postseason, just making it in year one is PROGRESSION
  8. My dream is that this team is heading in the right direction, no one expected to be in first place in late December, if you can't appreciate that, then I don't know what to tell you. Building a serious contender isn't a one year to the next endeavor...if you can't see the obvious progression, then go watch baseball, football just ain't your thing.
  9. It definitely won't be the Braves lol See article linked at bottom. Other baseball players who currently are or had been represented by Casey Close include Clayton Kershaw, Zack Greinke, Derrek Lee, Ben Sheets, Michael Cuddyer, Josh Hamilton, Eric Milton, Kenny Lofton and Richie Sexson.[ Was also involved in the Freddie ill-fated Freeman/Braves negotiations.... https://fansided.com/braves-blame-losing-freddie-freeman-casey-close
  10. It's almost like playing guys while hurt has consequences.
  11. Whatever bro. Keep living those wet dreams. 🤣 It’s a huge win but enjoy the Matrix.
  12. His agent is located in NYC…let’s not overthink this
  13. Also Kevin Warren is a football terrorist that wants to kill atmospheric games in Chicago weather. Yes, I know a dome objectively makes sense. But there's something special about that crazy lake weather.
  14. Yeah Love got a FG in a half of football, he was just smoking us bruh
  15. Don’t get why people hating on ND. Bama and OU didn’t look good either but was at least entertaining. Having Tulane and James Madison in this ruined the entire week one. Total trash
  16. Let’s not get greedy here brother!
  17. I believe he has a US agent and my guess is everything is being done in US time, although when you are at this stage in the process talks can happen at all hours of the day. That being said, I assume a formal decision will be made by tomorrow, so final offers are likely already in to your point.
  18. That would be disappointing if it's the Yankees Mets Phillies. Following Elon Musk private jet tail numbers? No ghost flight diverted to Toronto?
  19. Yeah cuz they always lose to the Packers. Luckily, Love and Parsons both got injured. Anything else, jabroni?
  20. Wow - wasn’t pretty and thought Ben was out coached but Caleb had his best throws in the end. Was a real weird game - they didn’t adjust well to the blitzes and just got too cute at times but crazy they pulled that out! Still need to win one more in regular season but man I hope Lions lose tomorrow haha
  21. Murakami saw that Bears game and knows he has to be on the other pope-blessed team
