  1. Past hour

  2. CBJ03 replied to BamaDoc's topic in FutureSox Board
Almost every hit he gave up was soft contact. Once again through 5 on like 80 pitches.
  3. he started the game with 30 grams of cocaine.
  4. Why not just "yessir", you know, the vernacular of the times. Nobody has been saying "yea buddy!" since like Leave it to Beaver was on air.
  5. I mean, the obvious solution is to use ABS to make every call. The challenge system is stupid.
  6. Thorpe’s fastball has been sitting in the 92-93 range tonight and even hit 94. Pretty encouraging.
  7. If I was walking around with a 10-year sentence in my pocket, I'd probably keep a lower profile.
  8. What did Len suggest? I think a system with ties is way better personally. This new way is too gimmicky. Plus it's unfair if the other team gets a speedster on 2nd and your team gets a catcher or something.
  9. Does anybody else think it's silly that you need to use the last batter to start at 2nd? Why not let you choose from the last 2-3 batters? There is no chance they'll be up to bat while being on base. If you want to make sure they get to warm up in the batters box, then let the team choose from the last 2 batters. Then you won't get stuck with Grandal on 2nd while the other team has PCA.
  10. Urquidy after hearing it might be tough to patch together innings today:
  11. Today

  12. Dude, it was a good throw.
  13. How can we be certain what we see on the screen is 100% accurate?
  14. Yesterday

  15. Hock’s only remark was to ask, “He was at the Cubs game with 25 grams of cocaine?”
  16. Strong arm or not I didn’t think he was going to try for third just based on where it was hit. He was set up perfectly for it and it’s not like he caught it running the other way
  17. So 3w and 3L against the northsiders this year. Getting better.
  18. Urquidy is a master of command. Terrific today...and for several years with Astros. Hopefully he keeps it up and can stay on the field. And I won't complain if Schriffen knocks off that "yea buddy" stuff. What is he, 12?
  19. Ghost runner can start at 3rd as long as he is wearing the mascot costume of one of the participating teams.
  20. Most of the time, bunting is playing not to lose. Playing scared. I remember Ventura doing that in 2012...he really spit the bit down the stretch . Don't need that happening.
  21. Urquidy looked like a batting practice or HR derby pitcher, but had nasty junk.
  22. Jose Urquidy was worth the Doritos going to Pittsburgh.
  23. Sam particularly should have his challenging privileges revoked.
  24. The Hawk would have loved Urquidys change up. The wind robbed him of a 2 run homer.
