If this works, it may actually create a new trend to use the bullpen like we have all year. We've mostly done it out of necessity, but having a bullpen where guys don't have defined roles and all can go multiple innings during the regular season actually prepares a team for playoff workloads.

MLB might be heading that way. Hell, none of our starters can give us 4 innings.

I feel the complete opposite. Benetti seemed like he was a fan but he wasn't in your face about it. Schriffen was too over the top, he wasn't a fan but he was desperately trying to make everyone believe he was. Seemed way to fake.
